Sea Turtle 5K

The Sea Turtle 5K is a race that is near and dear to our hearts. Humans are not the only ones who love the 12 miles of beaches of Hilton Head Island. This coastal environment also plays an important role in the conservation of endangered sea turtles.

Start and end your run on one of the most beautiful beaches in the country along a path of sea turtle nests.

After the race we host a festival with local organizations to help educate participants on how we can protect our native sea turtles and their hatchlings.

We are proud to donate 100% of the profits and donations from this race to the South Carolina Aquarium and their Sea Turtle Care Center which aids sick and injured sea turtles before releasing them back into the ocean. Last year we were able to donate over $11,000!!

Commemorative race shirts to all registered by 8/2. Custom Sea Turtle Medals to the overall winners and top 3 male and female winners in each age group.
